John John, having done riveting accounts work for 14 years, took the offer of redundancy to travel so that he could rid himself of his joint obsessions of soap operas and Fulham Football Club. The potential weight loss in India can't be ruled out as a key factor either. The trip combines a leisurely (maybe not if you've seen either of us drive) trip round Europe staying with a friend in Munich, a friend's house in Alicante and familiar territory in the form of Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam and best of all Prague. Then we get on to the really serious business of world wide travel. India is met with some trepidation (some love it, some hate it) and then through Singapore, Malaysia (unknown quantities) and Thailand (watch out for the 'lady-boys !!!) ending up in Aus and NZ where we have somewhere to stay. Should be very exciting although could someone tape all the Coro, Brooky and Eastenders for me !!!
